To start, you have to consent to the break up. I understand this may be difficult, but it's essential you keep cool and calm in this moment. If you are unconfortable doing this in person, use an email or message. Tell her that you think this is a good option for you both and accept it.

Think about it this way. The break up has already happened, so you may as well accept it. If you do it this way, you will be in a positive situation, instead of arguing with your ex about it. This may be difficult for you, but beleive me, this is for your own good.
