I’m a man, and I’ve spent most of my dating life in Houston trying to figure out women. But I’ve heard a lot of horror stories from my female friends about guys they’ve dated. I’ll admit they have some valid points. But they need to understand the nature of the creature they’re dealing with. So I want to give a little practical advice to women about how to find more satisfying relationships in Houston.

My thesis is that the “Houston woman seeking man of my dreams” search is only going to disappoint you, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a good man.

We all know men are bad at seeing emotional signs in women. Women assume it’s because we don’t care. And often, the message men get is “Houston woman seeking man who reads minds.”

Men do care about women’s feelings. But for many men, we just don’t use our emotional senses on a regular basis. It takes a long time for us to open up emotionally. He might give something up to keep the peace, but he’s going to resent it.

If you respect a man’s individuality he’ll appreciate it and most likely change on his own. Men have a pretty good sense of fair play.

His ad will include all the one liners women like to hear. Houston personals are perfect for shallow men.

Houston speed dating services aren’t much better. They still focus on the quick first impressions that dirt bag men are so good with. You could meet a good guy through the Houston personals or a Houston speed dating service but they aren’t good bets.

If you like the distance and wide net approach of Houston personals, there are some better options. Some of the newer Houston dating sites do a good job of weeding out the fakers and go right down to the deeper connections that make good relationships.
